A screening of Yann Gonzalez's 2013 feature "You and the Night" — a surreal, candlelit drift between fantasy, desire, memory and confession. The story unfolds within a decadent, isolated mansion over the course of one surreal evening, as a group gathers for intimate encounters and the film moves between dream and reality, examining longing, identity, power and vulnerability.
Gonzalez crafts a world suspended outside of time: theatrical, melancholic, provocative and strangely tender. A hypnotic journey through eroticism, emotion and human connection, featuring musician Anthony Gonzalez.
The evening begins with pre-drinks at The Lebanese Rocket Society from 7:00pm, before the screening at FOMO Cinemas at 8:30pm.
